Training course in therapeutic endoskopie

A training course for therapeutic endoscopy was conducuted in Kabul in Febraury 2007.
We were fortunate to have the services of Dr. Nadjib Ahmadiar, who heads a gastroenterological
practice in Germany, as the guest speaker at this course.
The participants in this training course were endoscopists from Kabul, Herat; Mazari-Sharif and Kunduz, who had already taken part in previous therapeutic endoscopy training courses. At the end of the course the participants were presented with equipment which they could use when putting the knowledge they had gained into practice. The cost of the training course, the lecturer and the equipment were met by the DAAD and the DAMF.
