In his last years, Prof. Dr. Martin Wienbeck had dedicated himself to the
work of the foundation. The most outstanding results of this work
were accomplished during his stays at Kabul, Afghanistan, in areas of education
of female and male phyicians as well as the establishment
of a modern health care system at Afghanistan.
He lost his life in a traffic accident on April 27th 2005 in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Thanks to the participation of many people, the foundation is now carried
in the spirit of the originary goals.
